Optique Saint-Pierre: Innovative store design
Muriel Pillot has been the owner of the independent optical store in Pontarlier (FR) for several years. Muriel has a great sense of the connection between eye care and eye fashion. She received her training at National Optical Lunettery School of Morez in the Haut-Jura.
With her team, Muriel has grown the store into a leading eyewear boutique in the Pontarlier region over the past few years. This is partly due to its high-quality and wide range with brands such as: Volte Face, De Stijl, Naje, Sandro, Lavin and many more. Their glasses and lenses are of Japanese technology and French manufacture. To better express the range and craftsmanship, Muriel reached out to WSB.
DNA of the store design
To make the interior design of the optician’s store successful, we look at the DNA of Optique Saint Pierre, why is this store running well and what could be improved? The three key words to answer this question are: craftsmanship, conviviality and beautiful spectacle presentations. The optician’s shop is professional. In addition, there is an open and friendly atmosphere. A beautiful spectacle presentation in combination with a custom interior is what makes the store the perfect picture.
Natural materials in the interior design
The interior design of the optician’s store reflects a chosen style inspired by the natural environment. Consistent with this theme, elements such as natural wood, robust stone, and abundant greenery were selected. The central studio and measuring room also feature wooden and steel structures.
Rick Blankenstijn: “In the design we used a mix of custom furniture and presentations from Forbettershops.com. The custom eye-catchers from WSB are easy to distinguish: the shop window presentations, ceiling element, children’s furniture and the left and right displays. Each of these elements draws attention, thus attracting more customers.”
Approach to realization of the interior design
WSB thoroughly planned and detailed the store design, including material specifications. In addition, a plan was made and a description written for the locals to carry out the installations and the finishing of walls and ceilings. The outcome is a beautiful optical store with an innovative interior design!
