Optics Van der Leeuw, Delft (NL)
After previous collaborations, Van der Leeuw Optics approached WSB for a new shopfitting. The WSB team has made an store design and a beautiful renovation with very high-quality detailed furniture customization.
The connection from the inside to the outside could have been more transparent and the outside customer more inviting to take the step inward.
The logistic set-up in the store has hardly changed because it has proven itself in the enormous customer dynamics that are characteristic of Van Der Leeuw optics Delft. The existing ceiling has remained and has been fitted with new LED lighting that provides a clear experience with better color recognition for the customer: the product sparkles more and the colors come out better.
The refined detailing in combination with materials such as walnut, marble and leather give the store the desired high-end look and feel. The counter with the indirect LED lighting that makes the natural stone top float optically is incomparably beautiful. Together with the dynamic doors in the shop windows, where solid walnut wood combined with elements painted in bronze metal, these are the eye-catchers of the store.
