Our contact with WSB goes back many years, and during that time, various plans have been considered. WSB’s many years of experience are immediately evident in the designs presented, which almost perfectly matched our wishes and ideas. Of course, some fine-tuning was still needed, but even that went smoothly thanks to the expertise of the design and sales departments. February 2014 was our first contact in the store in DEURNE, and we then went for lunch together in the center of Antwerp. It was a truly pleasant first meeting. Three weeks later, we were in Scherpenzeel at the invitation of Nico and Rick to visit the WSB company, and I must say, the connection was perfect from the very first minute. We quickly reached an agreement for collaboration, and the store was beautifully designed and perfectly executed.

In early 2000, the building in Wommelgem came up for sale, and we went to take a look together. Nico and Rick were already dreaming of a new collaboration, and for Thomas and Frits, it was the most natural thing in the world, with the well-known result… the 2025 design award worldwide at Mido in Milan, and the rest is history.

It wasn’t the first time WSB took on the renovation of our store in Burgum. And once again, the WSB team impressed us with a stunning design to bring Brinksma Optiek Burgum completely up to date. The beautiful herringbone-patterned PVC floor laid the foundation for the new interior, featuring unique elements. “What light and space!” is a common reaction from our customers. People of all ages are full of praise for the ambiance and appearance. Just three and a half weeks after demolition began, the store was ready to reopen. And we are full of praise for WSB’s approach. From the very first meeting to the completion of the renovation, we had an excellent collaboration with WSB. They created a stunning interior for our jewelry store (Van Soest Jewelers) in Zutphen. WSB has created a fantastic interior for our store (Van der Geest Optiek) in Haarlem. They listen to the customer’s wishes, add a twist here and there, and voilà!
