Shop renovation for Van der Weij Optiek
Entrepreneur Jan van Leeuwen decided to expand his optical store in Geldermalsen and moved into the neighbors’ building with the existing store. This allows Van der Weij Optiek to further develop into a regional optical center together with ‘Lensonline’ and ‘Iris Clinics’. After the shop renovation of his optician’s shop, more attention was paid to the profession: a large workshop within sight, a grinding department and a professional measuring line.
Jan’s vision is: both the customer and professional advice are central. This means that after the shop renovation of the optician’s shop, more attention is paid to the customer’s needs. In addition to a wide range of glasses, the new optical center of the Betuwe also has a lot of knowledge about contact lenses and eye care. Van der Weij Optiek provides appropriate advice for customers.
Style of the interior and store design
The style of the new shop design for the optical store has been designed in a friendly and accessible manner by the designers of WSB. The theme on which the design is based: a connection between the Dutch Betuwe and Italian Tuscany. The colors are soft, subtle and radiate warmth. When a Betuwe resident comes into the store, he should feel like he has come home. And when a fashionable lady enters Van der Weij Optiek, she should get the feeling of ‘La Dolce Vita’.
Management of the store renovation of the optical store
Het ontwerp en de realisatie van de winkelverbouwing van Van der Weij Optiek werd bij WSB neergelegd. Alles is aangepakt: de voorgevel, brandwerende afwerkingen en installaties. De verbouwing is uitgevoerd van A tot Z. Klaar voor de opening van de optiekzaak. Een mooie opdracht, met een nog beter resultaat: een prachtige, nieuwe winkel met meer klanten en dus meer omzet.
