About Diruy in Cucq (FR)
For three generations, the Diruy family has been working to bring well-being into the home thanks to a dedicated team and French know-how. The company was founded in 1955 by Michel Diruy in Amiens and subsequently developed by his sons Gérard and Marc. Diruy is currently managed by Suzy and Fabien, Michel’s grandchildren. They can be found in five agencies in Amiens, Normandy, Paris, Baie de Somme and the Côte D’Opale. The great thing is that the Diruy company is not showing signs of wear and tear after three generations, but is very vital. Experience, sustainability go hand in hand with creativity and entrepreneurship. Today the company has more than ten sustainable interior and exterior products. By personalizing houses in terms of doors, pergolas, sun blinds, security and patio furniture, Diruy creates comfort of life.
New showroom interior in Cucq: design and furnishing by WSB
Rick Blankenstijn: “I got to know Diruy’s driven entrepreneurs through other customers in Normandy (Vimeu Optic in Friville Escarbotin). WSBdesign.com designs and realizes successful shop designs and showrooms. We are very strong in this in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. WSB is a family business of 60 architects, construction supervisors, buyers, furniture makers and mechanics. I was familiar with the existing concept and I advised to give the new store in Cucq a very stylish, attractive and professional appearance. The interior architects have drawn up a total concept in which the exterior of the building and the showroom are one big calling card with inspiring presentations for potential customers. The Diruy family are passionate entrepreneurs who are open to good partners. The first 3D store concept that WSB presented was realized one-on-one. In the design, we took a close look at the atmosphere of the region: many people with stylish tastes who need high-quality products live in this region. Sustainability is an important theme at Diruy.
The opening on October 4 was a great success, with many visitors and relations. The store had already achieved very good turnover in the first three months. We are happy with the collaboration. And it is special that customers know how to find their way to the store so easily. The mix is good: real professionals, a beautiful website, good shopping experience, beautiful products, close-knit family culture, good service and a good price level. Fabine and Suzy: congratulations on behalf of WSB!”
