Inspiring store design for Bijouterie Les 2 Barbeaux
Loic Alif, the owner of Bijouterie Les 2 Barbeaux, reached out to the interior architects at WSB to collaborate on brainstorming a new store design. Loic brings profound knowledge of jewelers in France, having previously worked as a representative in the jewelry industry. He tasked WSB with designing an atmospheric, not overly industrial store with timeless colors, rounded shapes, and a few eye-catching features. One of the various eye-catchers found in the store is the striking lamp in the central area by the entrance. Given the broad range of jewelry, gold, silver, and watches, the layout of Bijouterie Les 2 Barbeaux was crucial. Therefore, WSB focused primarily on optimizing the retail space.

The collaboration between Loic Alif and Rick Blankenstijn was one with short lines, even during the construction process. WSB took care of the store design, measurement of the property, description of the finishing works, and the complete delivery of the interior, lighting, and wall finishes. Rick Blankenstijn commented, “Loic is a driven entrepreneur who built the store himself from scratch. It’s admirable how he curates a beautiful assortment in both average and higher price ranges. The impressive turnover makes the investment lucrative.”
