WSB creates an exclusive optical store design for the iconic Leica brand
The move to a new location gave Leica the opportunity to completely redesign the store. The aim was to create an interior in which the recognisable identity of the iconic camera brand takes centre stage. With an exclusive optical store design, WSBDesign.com has created a space in which brand experience, craftsmanship and customer focus are central.
A design centred around Leica’s identity
Leica is known worldwide for its high quality cameras, innovative technology and the impressive images captured with Leica cameras. This rich history formed the inspiration for the new store interior. The design not only had to provide space for the collection and service, but also immediately immerse visitors in the world of Leica.
A well considered store interior with optimal routing
The distinctive L shaped layout of the premises presented an interesting challenge within the design. Creating a clear overview and logical routing required a smart organisation of the space. By strategically positioning the counter and workstations in the outer corner, behind the shop windows, an open and clear store is created in which both the entrance and the refraction room are clearly visible.
The elongated corner location also offers many opportunities for presentation and visibility. The shop windows are fitted with custom made display furniture that functions optimally both inside the store and towards the street. As a result, the shop windows not only enhance the appearance of the store, but also create an inviting presentation for passers by and visitors.
With this new store concept for this optical store by Leica, WSBDesign.com has created an interior in which identity, functionality and customer experience come together.
