Custom museum interior at Museumplein (NL)
The shop of the Diamond Museum in Amsterdam is located in a beautiful spot on the Museumplein. Thousands of international visitors pass through here every day. The shop is the last room before the visitors of both Coster Diamonds and the Diamond Museum leave the building. The atmosphere used to be tourist oriented with mostly standard souvenirs. In the new situation, the high-end souvenirs and diamonds in particular had to be presented better. A catering area has also been created where visitors can quietly drink a cup of coffee. The store is equipped with special display cases where the diamonds sparkle extra beautifully.
Custom museum design and realization
The highlight is the bar with diamonds where customers choose their jewelery with a cup of coffee or glass of cava. The luxury souvenirs are displayed on various flexible stages. These stages can be used flexibly so that the retail space can be played with and space is also created for events with large groups, for example. The atmosphere is light and accessible luxury with the catering area as a dark, cozy counterpart. All in all, it has become a fantastic space where sales have also increased significantly!
