Interior Design of Fashion Store in Maastricht: Anna van Toor
With the opening of its 33rd branch, Anna van Toor is taking a significant step toward the southern part of the country. For the first time, the fashion company is establishing itself in Limburg. This branch is located in the historic center of Maastricht. The new store is housed in a beautiful national monument at 18 Wolfstraat. The building has character and history. It was once home to Scotch & Soda. The classic columned facade gives the store a stately appearance, perfectly matching the charm of the city.
A light and warm interior with modern accents
The interior of the new location has been designed with great care. Atmosphere, functionality, and experience are key elements. At the back of the store, a large skylight brings in plenty of natural daylight, making the space feel airy and inviting. At the counter and bar, the terracotta Italian tiling immediately catches the eye. The warm hue adds a sense of calm and elegance. Additionally, Mono 20 display walls have been used for the first time. These have a sleek design with rounded corners. They showcase the clothing in a calm and stylish way, without overpowering the space.
Exclusive Interior Design in a Historic Building
What makes this store truly special is the thoughtful integration of the building’s past into the overall design. The mosaic tile floor at the back is original and has been deliberately preserved, adding character to the space. Behind the counter, natural materials were also chosen: a back wall of lime-washed oak with webbing creates a refined yet modern look. Combined with the warm color palette and contemporary elements, the result is an interior design that clearly stands out from the average fashion store.
With a surface area of 300 m², this store is not only spacious but also rich in atmosphere. The interior design of this fashion store is a beautiful example of how old and new can enhance each other—a place where fashion, experience, and history come together in the heart of Maastricht.
